Thick cloud spiraling in the Coral Sea is due to Tropical Cyclone Ului which is tracking towards the QLD coast. Low cloud is being driven over the coast by strong southeasterly winds, causing scattered showers. Skies are clearer in the west as easterlies dry over land.
